Guitar AND songwriting lessons

LEARN TO PLAY THE SONGS YOU LOVE

OR LEARN TO WRITE THEM!

Want to improve your mind and skills? I've been teaching beginning and intermediate private acoustic or electric guitar lessons since 2015. I specialize in folk, pop, indie, and rock guitar. I particularly love to teach girls, young women, and non-binary folks how to rock out on the guitar and believe in themselves.

I also teach songwriting lessons for those who already have some proficiency on an instrument and want to learn to write songs or improve their songwriting.

Cancellation policy: If you need to cancel or reschedule your lesson, please do so at least 48 hours in advance. If you give less than 24 hours notice for a cancellation or reschedule, you will be required to pay the full fee (except for emergencies). I'll be reasonable about this.

A Note For Parents:
For kids between the ages of 9-18, parents are welcome to sit in on the first lesson to get a feel for how it works, to assess me as a teacher, and to help your child feel comfortable. After that, unless your child specifically requests your presence, I would ask that you sit in an adjoining room or drop your child off. I have found that it's easier for students to relax and take ownership of their instrument when parents aren't present for every lesson.
